Bridging Hong Kong with Germany and the Czech Republic
PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION 活動簡介：
此次跨文化交流與歷史探索之旅旨在透過親身體驗和互動學習，讓同學們在歐洲的旅途中深入了解德國和捷克的歷史、文化及現代發展。活動內容涵蓋兩國，通過參觀名勝古蹟、與當地學生和青年交流，並探索當地生活，增進同學們的跨文化理解和交流能力。
This cross-cultural exchange and historical exploration journey aims to provide students with an immersive experience and interactive learning opportunities, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of the history, culture, and modern development of Germany and the Czech Republic during their travels in Europe. The activities will cover both countries, involving visits to historical sites, exchanges with local students and youth, and exploration of local life, thereby enhancing students' cross-cultural understanding and communication skills.
1. 歷史與文化學習：同學們將通過參觀歷史名勝和文化機構，了解歐洲的歷史背景和文化精髓。
2. 青年交流：與當地學生和青年交流，促進跨文化對話和理解，分享各自的文化特色和生活經驗，以及中、歐文化的異同。
3. 實地考察與體驗：同學們將親身體驗當地的生活、交通和飲食文化，增強獨立性和適應能力。
4. 跨學科學習：活動涵蓋歷史、建築、藝術、科技、教育等多個領域，促進綜合學習與應用。
5. 領袖訓練：高年級同學將學習獨立、照顧他人及規劃行程的技巧，同時照顧初中同學，培養「付出」與「感恩」的美德。
6. 了解中歐合作：參觀中國駐捷克大使館了解「一帶一路」倡議帶來的機遇；參觀慕尼黑孔子學院，加深對中西文化的理解並參與文化交流活動。
1. Historical and Cultural Learning:
o Students will visit historical landmarks and cultural institutions to understand Europe’s historical background and cultural essence.
2. Youth Exchange:
o Engage with local students and youth to promote cross-cultural dialogue and understanding by sharing cultural characteristics and life experiences from China and Europe.
3. Field Studies and Experience:
o Students will personally experience local life, transportation, and dining culture, enhancing their independence and adaptability.
4. Interdisciplinary Learning:
o The activities will encompass various fields including history, architecture, art, technology, and education to foster comprehensive learning.
5. Leadership Training:
o Senior students will learn independence, caring for others, and itinerary planning skills while looking after junior students, cultivating the virtues of "giving" and "gratitude."
6. Understanding China-Europe Cooperation:
o Visit the Chinese Embassy in the Czech Republic to gain insights into the "Belt and Road" initiative and China-Europe cooperation.
o Visit the Confucius Institute in Munich to enhance understanding of Chinese and Western cultures and participate in cultural exchange activities.
This journey also aims to allow students to partner with German and Czech youth for mutual understanding and cultural exchange through:
o Building relationships by visiting important historical and cultural sites together.
o Observing local social development through visits to municipal constructions.
o Engaging in academic exchange via classroom experiences in Germany and the Czech Republic.

如合資格獲香港特別行政區民政及青年事務局資助，費用為 K$12,000；基層家庭同學費用為 $3,000
課程獲「民青局國際青年交流資助計劃」及「基層青年境外交流資助試行計劃」資助。

- 參加者必須下載HKYouth+青年手機應用程式及登記成為會員。
Participants must download the HKYouth+ mobile application and register as members. - 參加者必須出席並參與所有配套活動（包括但不限於一次團前工作坊、一次團前社區服務、一次團後社區服務及一次團後分享會）。
Participants must attend and participate in all accompanying activities (including but not limited to one pre-trip workshop, one pre-trip community service, one post-trip community service, and one post-trip sharing session). - 所有參加面試同學必須遞交一份自述(中、英文皆可，500字內)，說明參加這活動的目的，以及期望有甚麼得著或成果。面試內容會針對同學是否了解「一帶一路」的政策，到訪國家的背景或文化，以及如何在學校及社會中發揮所見所聞的得著。
All students participating in the interview must submit a self-statement (in Chinese or English, within 500 words) explaining the purpose of joining this activity, as well as what they hope to gain or achieve. The interview will focus on whether students understand the "Belt and Road" policy, the background or culture of the visiting countries, and how they can apply their insights and experiences in school and society.
